soo i've been thinking of getting a 99-00 e46 for around 14k. i've liked bmws for a really long time blah blah i didn't like any of the newer cars for that price and then i saw the new mazda3. it's a grand or so more expensive and it's not a bmw but the numbers look impressive. good reviews from car and driver..0-60 in like 7.5 sec, some nice standard features, and around 150 hp i remember reading? nto sure. anyway i'd also be getting the warantee that comes along with it that i wouldn't have with the bmw.... it feels treasonous to be even thinking about a car like this, but what are your opinions?

i'm 16... i know the mazda makes more sense but stillllll i've been in love with the e46 since it came out

yes mazda 3 has nice reviews but i wouldnt go for it.

im 17 and right now i drive a 92 325 and my dad dont want me to have such an old car. plsu maint is high on it. he wants me to have new. this was a hand me down as it was his old car. plsu i drive alot and i drive hard.

im deciding on a earliest e46 bimmer or a subaru wrx. i love my car. dad finally convinced me to buy on of the other but he wants me to have relativly new. so basically 00 323 which is a downgrade from my 325, or a 02 wrx which is 'specs-wise' up or a new mazda 3. i think i have decided on wrx bc 227hp awd. theyre allabout 14k mazda 3 is nice thouhgh, and so is the bimmr but in teh 323 im not gettin the performance version and thats what im all about.

the subaru is the only non bimmer id take though bc i dont really trust mazda for reliability. only honda/toyota/subaru.
