A beautiful 7-series?



These are the first official photographs of the new Quattroporte, Maserati’s flagship model due to be unveiled at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show on September 9. This car represents a new interpretation of the high performance Italian luxury saloon, a segment created by Maserati with the first Quattroporte in 1963. Pininfarina’s masterful styling is matched by a powerful 400 bhp V8, an extraordinarly spacious cabin, and the possibility of personalising the car right down to the smallest detail. The car’s dimensions are 5052 mm length, 1895 mm width, 1438 mm height, and 3064 mm wheelbase.

i love maseratis, my dad was going to get a spyder or coupe instead of the 911TT......very rare car, ive only seen two in my lifetime (ive driven one of them), and the second i saw following a M5 down at our beach house

Very nice. Kinda reminds me of a Volvo (the profile at least). Quattroporte means four doors in Italian. Could they not think of a better name? The Maserati Four Door? Kinda lame.

it's going to cost $100,000. and it looks like a retro jaguar style, yet modern in some way. oh, and it looks like a buick park avenue a little bit.

trigg can back me up on this, but quattroporte means four valves (thats what he said) because he called a Ferrari 308GTSi Quattroporte, when its quattrovavle....same thing i guess?

i knew quattrovalve was 4 valves, but trigg had said they were the same thing...quattroporte is such a cool word though
