Lexus LX470 or Cadillac Escalade? - BMW Forum

Which would you guys choose? My dad had a '98 Land Cruiser and loved it so he really wants the LX, which will replace our Ody, but the styling and comfort of the Escalade is great. How much does an Escalade cost? My dad says that he saw one at the Autoshow(2003) that was $80K....but he's not 100% sure. The price of the LX we want is about $72K. Which would you guys choose and Why?

the escalade is not $80k. I actually drove an escalade for a month and a half. Its crap. Dont get it. Its a freakin surburban with leather. It has the exact same interior design and everything. It drives ok but i hated it. get the lex

i have seen a escalade with 700hp and can do an 11.8 quarter mile.

I wouldn't get neither. Get the new Range Rover! That is a sick ride. Or a G500 if you have the funds.

If it were up to me, we would be getting a G55 and installing a Lorinser, Brabus, Renntech, or Kleemann upgrade, which produces 650HP. But my dad doesn't think that the G55 is worth the $92K pricetag + $20K for the upgrade. He'd much rather get the Lexus. I'll have to look into the Range Rover.
