Well we've had the POS 89 buick Revieria or how ever you spell it, in our drive way for eeeeevvvveeerrr. It's pissing my mom off bad. So i've talked my parents into letting me fix and sell it and keeping what ever I can get for it. Heres the problem, we put a new battery in it and its been dead for a long time. The alternator says its putting out 12.6 volts which is pretty good. I'm gonna be tearing into this thing this week. Any idea on where to start?

Silver4evr is an unknown quantity at this point
I don't really understand the problem....it won't start? clean/replace the plugs, points, replace the spark plug wires, condensor, distributor cap....all the ignition stuff....does it have gas? Gap the plugs and points. When's the last time it was started? Put some starter spray/cleaner in the carb. mmmm....let's seee....what else....put some new gas in it, clean the gas tank...prolly filled with crud.

That's a good start.
