It is a play on an old 1st grade joke that goes, "Why is 6 afraid of 7?.........Because 7 ate 9." That joke is a pun, with "ate" and "8" being homonyms. This is the lowest form of humor. His joke, was referring to the 6 and 7 series of BMW, with the 7 having a V12, and the 6 only having a V8. I actually thought it was quite clever.

i hate to be pedantic dude, but the 6 series also has a V10 if you count the new M6. I guess its not really the point. I guess this post isn't really the point. Hell, this whole thread is pointless
