aston martin dbr9

Aston Martin is making there return in racing with the new DB9.
The transformed DB9R9 should start in the racing scene at LeMans next year.

The new GT-racer is based on the production version of the DB9,
the car is made by Prodrive from the British Banbury.

The first DB9R9 is in production at this moment, and is gonna take part of a few international racing events like the LeMans in 2005.

Apparentley there will be 3 or 4 teams racing in various series with the DBR9, each running 2 cars with the full support from Aston Martin.

In a Ferrari style, the DBR9 will be available in road spec to limited customers.

Should be tasty.... it's been long enough!


Prodrive is 20 miles from me. AM is only another 10 from that. I'll work there one day

well i guess its a rendering more than anything , yes the car is being developed but this is what the concept is suppose to look sort of like in the end.

They had the DBR9 on Top Gear a few weeks ago, and it did look a fair bit like that rendering.
