A6 audi back seat help

i dont know if anyone here has an audi.... but i am having some trouble

this is a 01 a6 4 door..

i put the back and very left (if you are looking forward) seat down, but now i cant properly put it back up... it goes up, but it doesnt lock in properly. the little red tab stays up and doesnt go back down(the tab next to the headrest)....

does anyone know how to solve this? i thought that it was supposed to lock into place when you just put it back up on its own....

Oh yea... and the fact that if that A4 wasn't such as hassel causing my Dad to not like audi, he would have gotten an A4 convertable over the M3...yea audi is bad when compared to bmw

You think Audi is better then BMW? I don't think Audi is a bad company, but the used car we got (on the list of used cars not to buy;we didn't know) and that car is sooo bad...about 5 of my friends have audi's, not a bad car, Im just more of a BMW guy
