So any recommendations on a good shop to take a '95 525 automatic to?
Everybody talks about these GM transmissions only lasting so long.
Mine is acting up, Hesitates when accelerating in 1st & 2nd doesn't kick into 4th till higher rpms.
Has anybody had theirs repaired? rebuilt? replaced?
When this first started happening last summer, I replaced the fluid & filter
Where do I go to have mine evaluated?
Dealer?
German Import Shop?
Transmission Shop? Is there such a thing as an import specialty trans shop?
Aamco?
A certified transmission rebuild shop?
This is so hairy cause I think mine is salvagable, probably needs a few parts replaced and some seals. Don't want to buy/pay for something I don't need. |
