I took my 2001 BMW Z3 2.5L to the nopi event at cordova. It was a great experience that I recomend to all car enthusiasts.

I took part in bracket racing and open sessions. I didn't do so hot in the bracket racing, as I broke out of my time in the first round and got eliminated.

My best time was a 14.53 in the quarter mile. This was a pleasent suprise since last year on a test and tune day i ran a 15.5 completely stock. The only upgrades I did for this year were the intake and chip, a total of $588.

Therre was only one other bmw in the event, an older BMW, not sure on the numbers, but from the later 80's. It competed in the burnout competition, didn't win, but was great to see another bmw owner enjoying their car.
