Where I live I cannot work on my own car (extremely steep driveway, no garage) so I am looking for pals to work on cars with.
I am a youngish 41, so I get on well with pretty much anyone from college age up to venerable grey petrolheads, though I admit to liking classic rock more than whatever that stuff is that young folks these days listen to (j/k)
I enjoy beer but I am not some drunk who will strip your bolts with a hamfisted wrench technique. I don't smoke anymore but I will not narc on anyone who smokes in my presence.
I believe the society of car geeks should be a libertarian society that encourages freedom as long as you don't hurt anyone.
