Spy shots of the E90 convertable

article taken from MPH.com

http://www.mph-online.com/web/spyphotos/0025

We've been a little overloaded with BMW news lately, but we couldn't pass on these choice spy photos of the BMW 3 Series Convertible. These up close and personal shots show off the three-piece, retractable hardtop and how seamless it looks in the up position. Sources say the coupe version will debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2006 with the convertible to follow sometime in 2007. Why does BMW take so long to launch one of its most popular models?

Also expect the same engines available in the current sedan line-up and an M variant too. Supposedly, the disguised front and rear ends here will be different from the coupe and sedans to offer a "sportier" look.

BMW///MPower is on a distinguished road
Thumbs up I think it is just you

To me it looks more like the E46 and I LOVE THE E46 M3.

I think the balance in the car is all off. It looks like to me that the car should be a four door. I love the E46 M3 to, and this car defintely doesn't look like an E46. Hopefully the styling will change before its go time.

Looks Sick, glad they went with a hardtop. When does the E90 coupe hit our shores?

Interesting

I think the e90 chasis conv/coupe are supposed to be designated e92 or e93

thats wut i remember, even though I find it very odd because BMW is supposed to assign these numbers based on the chasis.

I don't think it looks awful, but I'm very curious to see how exactly this special convertable is supposed to work!

i know this is old thread, but seriously wtf is BMW thinking with some of their wheel designs? I know they definitely make some SICK ones(z4mroadster/coupe etc etc..), but stuff for the E90 and E60 and even the normal 6 series..i mean c'mon..i know for the 7 and the 6 they have optional M wheels..but unless you pay a lot of $$, BMW imho rips you off with wheel design..
some of the older wheel designs they did look absolutely stunning..but for the modern ish..i think it looks horrible..especially stock e90 rims = ew
