Z3 Newbie - Hello

Just got a 2000 2.3 Z3 and can't believe how much info you can find on these forums! WOW! I just did a cheapo upgrade to the woofer with a custom box with two Pyle 5" subs. Anyone else had any luck inproving the bass without spending a fortune? My upgrade is OK but just curious if any others had any success. My next project is installing the emiata window. I heard good and bad things about their windows. Wish me luck! yikes. Gona be pretty scary once I see my car without a window - no going back at that point!!

Welcome to teh Werkz! As you can see briefly from my sig and at more length from my vbGarage page om this site (click on my name and it will give you a link to my mods list and pics) there are MANY things you can do to upgrade ypur Z3! Also check out my compadre who has your exact car (2000 Z3 2.3) and has upgraded his bass (search for the links/threads from MiguelAcA as he has posted a ton on this stuff on his car!)

Good luck with all and enjoy!

And this danged house has really put a crimp in my style this past season...

Need/want - aluminum pedals, short shift kit, alum flywheel, Remus exhaust to name a few 'tings...

Also want more Bimmers. Danged mortgage! When the econ worled quiets down, THEN shall I move ahead with my nefarious planz...MWAAH-HA-HA-HAAAA

Oh, and seriously, my kitty (14 1/2, had her since 3 weeks) has been sick for 4 months and the vet has been just killing me (destroyed my whole slush fund ) but I loves her so what is a guy to do??? She's still "with it" is her playful affectionate self, so I must take care of her no matter the cost, her being family and all. Sigh.

OK back to cars - w'hoo there's sooo much ya can do!

'Night Werkzzz
