Exclamation Would like some info on E53 X5 3L Diesel engine

Hi all
I am new on the forum and from South Africa, have owned BMWs for must be 30 years. I am interested in buying a X5 3L Diesel and would like to know if any one of you can tell me if the cam on this engine is belt or chain driven, I know it is a simple question, but whom can I ask on a Sunday?
Regards
Gerhard

Welcome to the Werkz.

Have a look at RealOEM.com Online BMW Parts Catalog

Hopefully you'll be able to dig the information out from the diagrams. Hope to see you poking around the site again soon.
