What to buy? - BMW Forum

Hello to all and hopeing to get some opinions on these cars. I used to have a 1983 533i and loved it, i want to get something similar, or maybe going to a 3 series 325is maybe? What kinds of major differences am i looking at other than the obvious? any advise/opinions would be great. Thanks

An E30 would be sweet, but please don't buy one because i really want to buy one and they are becoming harder and harder to find, and if you go looking for one, it will make it all the harder for me.

533i? Nice car What happend to it btw?
What are you going to use the car for?
How many people do you carry?
How much stuff do you carry?
How many miles do you drive?
Whats your Price range?
What are you looking to gain?(new Daliy driver or weekend car or both?)
why are you replacing the previous vehicle?

Well i had the 533i when was between 16 or 17 needless to say i accumulated a good number of tickets with it. now im going to be having a baby soon, however this wont be the main babymobile, i currently have a diesel f250 which is raping me at the pump. I grew up in a big racing family and have never taken advantage of the education and i figured id like to start now with something like that. So the car will be a semi-project car, however i would like to drive it as much as i can. I just remeber how much fun it was to drive, now i cant find ANY 533i's so im wondering what would give me the same thrill or more, what has more potential for modifications and is there anything i need to stay away from or lean towards? I like the 91 325is but they are hard to find. Let me know, thanks
