Hello, Do you have a sunroof? Perhaps drains are clogged.

Hello,
It seems I have the same the same problem with my 2000 528i Touring. Mine comes with the sunroof. Only the back footwell carpet is getting wet. Red somewhere that the water drains can get clogged, but how do one finds them and fix it. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks

several scenarios possible.

In addition to what friend have already mentioned:
1) are you losing coolant? If yes, possible heater core leak...
2) do you use your A/C? if yes, maybe a clog in the evaporator drain line ;-)
3) (in jest)... you didn't pee you pants did you? ;-)
