Marty n00b Join Date: Nov 2006 Car: Posts: 1 Photos:	Stater problem I was going around a corner, down shifting when the starter made a high pitched spinning sound and the car died. Tried to start it and the starter motor sounded like it was not engaging. Nothing else is moving like the belts, etc. It's an 89 325i.
