Within the next couple of weeks I am going to be the owner of a 2006 750Li that I am purchasing for the trade in value. This car is the belongs to a CEO friend of mine and has 55,000 miles with the extended waranties for mantenance and parts. 150,000 on parts and 100,000 on maintenance. This car had an MSRP of 92,000 new and has all of the options that could be ordered.
I never owned a BMW before but I fell in love with this car when I drove it last week. His new X6 has been on order from BMW for about six weeks and as soon as it comes in I will get this one. (sure looking forward to that day).
I live in Gig Harbor Washington and have a summer home in Canyon Creek Montana where my wife of 49 years and myself spend the summer. It looks like there are no BMW dealers in Montana so I am not sure how I will get repairs there if I need them. Helena Montana has very few BMWs on the streets but Gig Harbor Washington has a constant stream of BMWs on the roads.

You are correct. BMWNA lists no dealer or service center in Montana. Best bet there would be to find a reputable independent shop or take it to the closest BMW service center, which appeats to be about 200 miles away...ouch. Keep it in Washington State.

Where is the dealer service center that is 200 miles away? As you are aware probably 200 miles in Montana is noting. There is no such thing as a low milage auto in Montana.

Congratulations on the car! I am sure you are very excited, it is a beautiful car. Be sure to post up pictures as soon as you can once you get it. Like gsd said, a good independent is not a bad choice. Usually they will be cheaper and treat you better since their living is dependent more on customer loyalty than anything. A good shop will be able to do most of the things a BMW dealer could. My suggestion is to find a good independent and build a relationship with them. Good luck.
