Hi,
My name is Marc and I live in the south of England.I have just inherited an E36 325i after my dad passed away, it was the only car he ever had from new and had covered 175000 miles with him at the wheel. It has a full service history and he thought the world of it and it now has tons of sentimenal value to me.
I am hoping to keep it going for many more years but have a few little things to sort out. The first question I need help with is; my car is a 5speed auto but the lights around the gear selector console are not working, does anyone know why this could be? I am sure when he first had it they lit up I have looked at the fuses under the bonnet but they seem to be ok. also how do you take it apart if needed? Sorry if I am being stupied but I was always told to ask. I will be getting a workshop manual but when I was browsing one I couldn't see this information.
