Exclamation Shout out to all..

[FOJust surfing and landed on the site. Looking forward to chatting and getting insight on several topics. I own a 2001 530i and I am needing to replace the radiator. Does the shroud need to be removed from the vehicle, or can I simply move it out of the way? I am working on it this weekend, and will eventually purchase the repair manual online. Any ideas as to who has the least expensive list price? Thanks to all. NT="Times New Roman"][/font]

If I remember correctly the shroud is not hard to remove. I would remove it.

The Bentley repair manual will run about $100, but it is worth the investment. In the meantime, here is a DIY for the radiator on the E39:
