raw gasoline smell

I have a 1994 325i with 141000 miles. when I fill her up with gasoline ,drive home and park her in the garage I start to smell gasoline I do not see anything leaking. after I burn about a 1/4 of a tank the smell will go away until the next time i fill up. any ideas thanks...

check you filler tube seal at tank. i had this happen on one of my domestic cars. the seal got old and torn, every time i filled up it'd start smelling. at 1/2 tank it would stop smelling, because the fuel is no longer as high as seal.
