New member checking in, my name is Dan and I live on Oak Island, in NC. Just picked up a '97 318i with 157k on the clock. The original motor was blown when the timing belt failed and munched the head, it was replaced with a motor from a wreck with 110K on it.
It rides decent but I am having the shocks and struts replaced this week, Just plan to use it as a daily driver instead of my fuel guzzling daily pickup.
I have owned BMW's for years but they only had two wheels, this is my first automobile. |
