| Newbie to forum, veteran BMW owner
What's up bmw enthusiasts. My BMW resume goes something like this;
2002-2009: 1999 E39 528i, 5 spd, loaded. Awesome car, my first BMW and I'll always be in love with it.
2006-present: 2006 E90 325xi. We've had our share of issues, but still a great car for the wife. Just went off warranty last year so we'll see how long we continue loving it. It was the first year of the idrive for the 3, should have seen that having some faults. Also had a piston rod break in half, that was annoying.
2009-present: 2003 Range Rover. The only year it was built by BMW, has the 4.4L V8 that is in the X5. Still has low miles (32k) so it's not on my "maintenance nightmare" list quite yet, but it does scare me sometimes with all I hear about the suspension and drivetrain issues...we'll blame those on the brits.
