michaelcp n00b Join Date: May 2011 Location: central USA Car: 1998 BMW 528i Posts: 2 Photos:	Newbee I have a 98 e39 and my issue is the a/c. It was working fine, until under the hood made this squeeling noise and then the cold air stopped. Can anyone help me, cause man it is HOT here.

I'd guess that the AC belt is gone, or the compressor is seized/screwed. Does it look like the belt is intact?
