After 25 years of many different American, Japanese and European cars I finally bought a BMW about 18 months ago for my daughter (black '03 325i) and I like it so much that I traded my Tungsten Grey Mustang GT for a BMW of my own (Montego Blau Metallic '08 328i).
I also thought I'd include some pics I took today of some Bimmers this crowd might be interested in from the Corkscrew Invitational at Laguna Seca sponsored by the San Francisco chapter of SCCA.
Welcome to the Werkz. So is it safe to assume that you consider yourself converted?
Enjoy your time here and keep up with the great photos.
Thanks brettski; yeah, I'd say I'm converted. I do already miss the torque and throaty sound of my dual exhaust V8 Mustang but I love the feel of quality workmanship and the tight, precise handling of the Bimmer. Perhaps my next Bimmer several years from now will have a little more HP i.e. 330 turbo-6 or maybe even M3.
Welcome to Bimmerwerkz....... great pictures! I miss my Chevelle SS, a little bit! The Chevelle would have probably smoked me in a straight away........kinda boring?
Now the twisties are a different story...... alot more fun.......The Bimmer would Rule!

Thanks johnnyBgood, yeah I look forward to fun drives through the twisties down the PCH and through Carmel Valley and up through the Santa Cruz Mountains to Alice's Restaurant.
