New Member - X3 is making me pull my hair out!

I have a 2005 BMW X3 3.0i bought used in 2007. This car was everything I wanted when I got it, but all the little problems are cropping up and frustrating me to the point of no return! Between this car and the 1995 German spec 520i I owned here in Germany, I am less than impressed with BMW's ability to build a car that lasts. I'm hoping this forum will give me a place to address all of the issues as they come up, so I can save on repair costs in shops. I like to be informed as possible when I head to a shop, lord knows repair guys are good at seeing a woman as a way to earn extra bucks when we walk into shops! I am trying hard to love my car again and not sell it!

Welcome to Bimmerwerkz. It's usually the smallest things that cause the biggest headaches. All vehicles are subject to inherent flaws. It can be a big pain fixing lots of small things, but I rather fix lots of small things then something big like a blown engine.

Hopefully you can start a thread detailing some of the issues your having. I found that once I had solutions to some of the problems I had it made me feel a lot better about the situation.
