Hello to all. I recently traded in an 05 Z51 vette for an 06 Z4M. My wife has had an 05 530i for a while and loves the BMW. I did love my vette as well, but even though it was a fast, awesome looking car, it's still a chevy! The quality of the vette does not match up to the BMW. The Z4m is not as fast as the vette, but it holds it's own! See ya!
Nice Z06.......how did it compare to the BMW? Was it modded or stock?
The vette was NOT a Z06, I just had the complete widebody Z06 fenders, front end and seats put on the car. It had a custom paint job with stripes. The car was beautiful and ran like a scolded dog...But it's still and Chevy and the quality was suspect! As much as I love the car, it just did not satisfy my needs. Compared to the Z4M, the BMW is much tighter, handles better and much better quality. The Vette was faster and got a lot more attention. I could not get gas at a gas station without people saying "nice ride"! So I will miss the vette, but then again, I'm not looking for attention as much as I am "fun to drive factor" and the Z4M roadster...is a blast to drive with the top down!!!
