Hi to everyone.
Since I got a polite private messige from your Admin I'm introducing me here.
I'm an electircal engineer who has just incidentally bought a beemer in 1996. I had it for 9 years (E30 316i sedan -1988) and I was very satisfied with it.
Of course I became BMW entusiast during that ownership.
After that I boutght E39 525dT - 2001 (yeah, it was a diseasel engine) since I couldn't find a proper gasoline car. Had it for 2 years, but I couldn't get used to enormous turbo lag and I sold it last year. I bought an E36 318iT - 1997 (I am crazy about tourings) which is so so. Overall for me E30 is the best of them all.
Anyway, I am working in a company which is relatid to electrical field (protection, control, CSCS systems, ...). My hobbies are Beemers, drifting (I have a track car with my brother), skiing, travelling (it has to be since I travel a lot for work), ...
I think it is enough of me.
I already found a solution for one problem on my shitty E36 (squeaky steering wheel), so thanks for that.
