New member with question

Hi, just signed up. Seems like an awesome forum. I drive a 1987 BMW 325e. I love it and it's the best handling car ever driven. Only wish I could get more power out of the engine. Computer chip maybe? Anyone ever change one? Is the change noticeable enough to do this? Thanks.

Leave the "chipping" for later. Start with a Cold Air Intake and an exhaust. Those are the two starter mods I recommend to people. You can build on that.

If you want to get really crazy, I've seen guys Turbo theirs, but it's a complete custom setup and requires lots of fabrication.
