New Member, old problem with misfires in 528i

Hi all, great site as I've learned a lot of information about my BMW's. I have my second 528i, 1999. I've been experiencing misfires on cylinders 3 and 5. I've installed new plugs and fuel filter. I've checked the boots of the coils and all seem to be in good shape. I even switched coils on 3 and 5 with other coils and the misfire still persists. The latest codes read:

PO305 Misfire, Cylinder 3 (and 5)
Fuel Ignition, Cylinder 3 Activation (and 5)

Suggestions?

Most common cause of the P0305 (with spark plugs and coils being good) is a problem with the CCV. Check all your hoses for a vacuum leak as this may be the concern.
