Hello everyone, thanks for taking part in this forum to help guys like me save some time and money. I'm a first time Bimmer owner and I'm learning why BMW stands for Bleeds Money Weekly. I have a '97 528 that I probably paid too much for, Lessons in life..... I just replaced the crankshaft position sensor and battery and fuel filter and had transmission service done, 135k on the car. I can't get this car to start now and I'm quite frustrated, that's why I turn to guys like you who know a thing or two about these fine machines. Anyways I look forward to passing on the knowledge that I learn from tearing this ride apart and putting it back together.
Thanks Witeshark, I cleaned the MAF 2 weeks ago. The fuel pump is running when I turn the key, I also tried the fuel rail and bled gas through the shraeder valve. Do you think I may have lost a relay during this whole process?
Well if you say thay the pump is running when u have the key in run than there shouldnt be a relay problem by no start do you mean no crank or crank no start?
Also did u get an oem crank sensor or aftermarket?
