Hi There:

Just purchased an 07 X3 and traded in an 01 Explorer. Seems like a major upgrade. Was wondering if there are many 07 X3 owners out there for comparing notes?

Well, we have the Steptronic six speed automatic transmission which so far is behaving itself, It's the 3.0 SI so it has 260 HP - It's colour is Montego Blue (which I really love), It has the extended moonroof, fully auto heated seats (no lumbar though

), heated steering wheel and the rest is pretty much stock (cruise, tilt, telescopic steering wheel, sandard stereo which is much better than the BOSE in my Vette).

We took it up to the Canadian Rockies and I was really impressed with it's handling. We had five adults and it still drove like a sports car rather than a SAV. With under 2,000 KM (about 1200 miles) it was still sucking gas hard (24 miles to the US gallon at 75 mph).

All in all I was blown away with this vehicle - I love it!
