My name is Bob Campbell from Victoria, BC, Canada. I recently bought a 2001 Z3 3.0i. To say I'm enjoying the car is an understatement!
The beast is all black (body, roof and interior) and has only 76,000 km. The previous owner made some modifications and I'll be asking later how to tell exactly what (the sport seats and Dinan CAI are pretty obvious).
Looking forward to chatting about these great machines.
Bob
PS My wife and I also have a 2005 Mini Cooper S which I guess is still technically a BMW
Nice ride, Bob! Pics?
And welcome from a fellow Canuck, I see that you reside in one of the most beautiful places on the planet...you lucky son-of-a....

Thanks Cat! I have no suitable photos yet. I work for Parks Canada so getting the Bimmer into work (Fort Rodd Hill & Fisgard Lighthouse) after hours will be simple
Yes, Victoria is beautiful and the city is kind for top-down driving almost 12 months a year...we actually have your average rainfall (25-30% less than Vancouver).
No prob, Bob(sorry, couldn't help myself)
Not only do you live on the island, but you work there? damn! It's top-down weather here 12 months a year as well...if you want to drive wearing a one-piece down full body suite, goggles, a heavy toque and the thickest mitts a person could find.
We have been getting a ton of rain this summer, much more-so than normal, not to mention all the smoke floating over from all the fires in the mountains on your side of the border. Is it bad around you as well, or is the island not an inferno like the rest of your province right now? I can actually taste the smoke here and it's so thick that I would compare it to a light fog. Visibility is still good, but maybe only 6-8km, tops.
