Greeting's to all My name is Frank & I'm happy to be a part of this, I recently lost my 1987 325es to the front bumper of a newer lifted dodge pick up. But while patiently waiting I just purchased a 1989 325is in good shape all around for 2 grand. Passed smog just gotta fix a howling noise in the rear & shes good to go, could not be more happy that there's people out there thats just as happy about there beemer as I am.

noise

not sure yet, but I hope it's the axle bearing's? My previous car had the same problem, but it was the diff bearing's (carier & pinion) that wasn't too bad with some help from a freind. I have not experienced the labor of swapping out rear axle bearing's look's time consuming but I'm un-employed & have plenty of time on my hands.
