 NEW MEMBER estoril blue coupe 318 is
hello there im mark from glasgow and recently purchased an e36 318is coupe which has several modifications but also has a few wee problems like most old cars.
The main problem i am having just now is when i start the car in the morning i have to sit and rev it or keep the revs at about 1500rpms until the engine is warm before i can drive it.basically if i dont do this then it will cut out a few times which is really getting to be annoying now.
my friend told me it might be the idle control valve but im not sure and i dont want to run out and buy a new one unless thats what i have to do...
