New member driving a 1999 318is

The '99 318is I purchased last year (used of course) came to me without features I was used to, such as a cruise control. It does get about 32 mpg (8.81 L/100km) and had under 150,000 km on it, which attracted me. I am here mostly because I am curious about the feasibility of installing cruise control on this car (cost-wise, and whether it is even possible to do).

Are you in Canada?

Installing cruise control is possible, but requires a new throttle body. The ones with cruise control are different from the ones without it. It is possible to add it if you really want it, but the cost is usually what turns people off.
