Yeah, the guy I bought it off of, bought it off his buddy who is a certified BMW tech... I have done swaps before, and I have to admit, this was done very well. I cant tell you how much more powerful it is compared to a 2.8 because I have never driven one, but this one, has plenty of power on tap. I am very happy with the car. Quite surprised at some of the features it has being a 97 and all...

I am stationed at Andrews air force base. There are 4 navy squadrons here. I am a jet engine mechanic. I am currently at my 2nd command here on Andrews, and I have been here since Mar '06.

I'm impressed, if you think that your car has plenty of poke after playing with turbines all day, it must be pretty dam good.

No not yet, ill have to check it out. Even though the engine is rated at 240(low est from BMW), it is very torquey. Even just cruising in 5th, if I hit the gas, it goes pretty good. I want to get some more out of it too!
