I just made my last payment on my 2005 330i. I am the second owner and know the original owner. The car has always been well cared for. Naturally, since I just paid it off, I had a problem...the very same day! My power steering went out without any warning. I'm a DIY kind of person and would like to know what's going on with it before I take it to the dealer for service. I posted a question earlier and look forward to getting responses.
visually check P/S oil level, and if the level is within limits, have the vehicle scanned for codes(it will give you insight where to start digging).
Otherwise, if you can accurately describe what it is you are feeling to say that p/s went out... by all means; describe the symptoms as best you can and we will be glad to help
