Hello Everyone,

I have been a Honda man for many uears and have just ventured into owning BMW's. Although baffled as to "why" some of the systems are so complex, I have become completely enamored of the smooth quiet ride of the vehicles.

coolvegase34 is an unknown quantity at this point
The reason the systems are so complex is the reason that the car has such a great ride. Once you drive a bmw, you will never drive another car. I was a nissan guy until I bought a bmw. If you want great bang for the buck, jap cars are unrivaled. But, there is nothing exciting about a honda or any other jap car. Bmw's are exciting. You can take a 5 hour drive in a 5 or 7 series and not feel any aches or pains. You just have to be prepared to spend some money. You get what you pay for. Congrats on the car. I know a guy who has an 85 735 that looks brand new. Any pics to post?
