Hi: I just signed up for the forum and wanted to say hello. I have owned three BMW's (85 232e with 450,000 miles before it was retired, 85 535i with 635 suspension, Dinian chip, and other mods, and my current ride, 328ic), and I really enjoy learning about these machines. I look forward to being able to get some input and also dish out what little I know about the BMW's I had.

my ride (or this is how I "roll" like the kids say these days)

Yes my current car is a 328 convertible, sport option, manual trans. The car has just turned 200 K miles and I'm starting to see that it needs some love.
The ac doesn't blow cold after having the condenser replaced last fall, so I need to have someone take a harder look at it. My larger issue seems to be the rear wheel bearings. The drive side had the original part replaced in Sept of '05, then again in the spring of '06 by another shop. (the guy who did the initial work on the car was great, but he passed away last year.) I had to replace the bearing again about 10 weeks ago and also had the driver's side bearing replace at the same time. The driver's bearing is starting to make noise again which makes me think that there is another problem.
Have you ever heard of anything like this before?
The car has been a dream, and I'd like to get another 25k miles out of it before I turn it into a weekend car.
