What's going on bmw.. I was just wondering if anyone can give me general info on what's what I know a little bit about these cars but I'm am going to be buying a 1997 5 series maybe a 1989 5series? I've been told u can do a lot w. Them & they ofer turbo kits etc.. Any info would be great as to what engines are the best?, swaps? Electrical probs? Blow head gaskets? Which ones awd? Rwd? & what's best? M5 parts? Etc.. I'm really tryng to get into bmw performance as I'm trying to work for them after auto school thanx
Like any car, if its not maintained then it can be a costly and painful process, that said, these are precision cars, so keep doing what you are doing (asking questions) and listen to some of the folks around here that are way more knowledgable than me.
