Hi everyone. I've owned a 1994 540i for the past 5 years but really missed having a stick shift, so I've just purchased a 2003 540i M-sport with a 6 speed manual transmission. The car is dark blue, in fabulous condition and it's been very well cared for. The radiator has just been replaced which is a bonus because, after reading a lot in various forums about the e39, it appears the cooling systems can be troublesome, which is something I was not aware of before the purchase. The previous owner was loathe to let it go but his wife insisted on having an automatic. How many times have we heard that before? My wife and I both prefer standards but she is quite happy with her Pathfinder, thank goodness, so I get to keep my new toy all to myself.
