Hello, I have a 95 318i I just got my hands on and have big plans for her. I've always liked the way bmws look and I had no idea till I got one that I love the way they feel even more so. All my cars before this were 70s volkswagens. I've rebuilt 2 super beetles, 1 beetle, and 1 bus. Decided it was time to step up to building something a little more modern but I did not want to stray away from german engineering. I have some pretty big plans for my little 318. Currently I am engine shopping, wish I could find a M that fits my needs but looks like a 325 will be the donor. Going to throw it on an engine stand and go to town on her till my little heart is content. Also plan on doing a transmission swap to get rid of the dreaded automatic, suspension, rear end, etc etc. I am a huge fan of forums, never would have finished the first VW if it wasnt for thesamba. I looked around at bmw forums for a while and this one seems to be the one for me. Thus the few months late introduction. So yeah.. i'm off to the junk yard.
p.s. I have the 6 disc changer with all the mounting brackets in the trunk but no cassette. If anyone needs it let me know. Gladly trade for a driver side fog lamp cover or a set of fog lights.
