NEW 733i owner in PHOENIX, AZ.

I just bought a 1984 733i from a dealer, july 4 for $700 incl tax, title and lic.
its got a super clean and straight white body with all exteriors working perfect except broken drivers door handle latch and a sticky auto antenna. interior is crispy fried from az sun but less than $100 in seat covers and dash cover from ebay should fix that.

cant get ac blower to go at all. except in DEFROST mode it blows and is hot (in az midday).

some kind of inboard trip computer next to cd/radio - i cant figure how to turn it on (if it will turn on still)

light to mph and rpm guages is burnt out (cant see at night)

and VERY CLEAN AND NICE MOTOR that has a bit of belt and fan noise- runs very well most of time - but ZUM BEISPIEL(for example) when i am going 40 mph and accelerate to 80 all is well - but if i let of pedal to 70 and TRY to go back up to 80 something wont let motor accelerate - I MUST GO BACK below 40 mph to get it accelerating again. similar problem occaisionally in all ranges. HOPING just new fuel filter or maybe fuel press regulator

also stock filterbox and 15 pin sensor missing - replaced with a cone filter attached to what i believe is a GIGANTIC mas.

transmission seems to be flawless (unless its responsible for above accel problem)

any tips appreciated
