New 03 E46 325i

Whats up people I just got my first BMW 325i sedan auto, with 75k i paid $6500 and has never been an in accident very well taken care of. i love the car so far great ride very smooth. I am looking to do some minor mods to it but I need to understand a few things before I begin. The facelift ?? what is the whole meaning behind it I just want to clairfy this prior to me ordering any headlights or anything like that. Also i wanted to ask how the ride is with the 1" drop I know how the Honda's drive but never a BMW just wanted to get some feedback. Also what good bolt ons are out there for these cars.
I am really excitied on having this car and hoping to do some minor mods to give that different look and a little more horsepower I will post some pics later thanks for your time !

The "Facelift" is the front-end make-over ! Different lights 'n trims, maybe hood and wings/fenders too, this happened in 2002 so bear that in mind
