 Need expertise on 1991 520i
Im new to the forum world. However, I've owned a 1991 520i for three years now. Im having a problem with the ignition and hope to get some advise. I turned off the vehicle and after 5 minutes attempted to turn the car back on. Only to find out that the ignition is doing nothing. Almost as if the chip is not communicating with the car (assuming the the keys in this year and model does have a chip in it). I turn the key to the on position and nothing is happening. No ignition lights or anything however, I can still lock/unlock the steering wheel. Why is it doing this? Could it be an anti-theft feature or did the ignition die on me? Please HELP! |
