Morning start

hi guys. i've just joined and hoping to tap into your experiences. i have a 520i 2001 whih has done 60kms. after about 5 seconds of turning the car on in the morning it starts to jerk as if it will go off. leaving it for about ten minutes the 'jerks' subside. when i then switch off and start, it's perfect. have tried the usual culprits - plugs, pump - nothing has helped. what could it be?
