Looking for advice.

Hello everyone.
I have the oportunity to buy a 99' 328i with 140k miles for $4k.
It's in pretty good condition..it needs a little paint in a couple of places. Serviced at the BMW so far.

Is it a good buy?

I really appreciate any advice.

Thanks!

Oliver.-

yes..it says $6500.
But I want to know if it a good idea to get a BMW with 140k miles. I know they are amazing machines...but 140k miles is a lot of miles. I don't want to buy a car which is going to give me problems.

What I'm trying to say is...is a BMW with 140k miles worth buying?

Oliver.-

yes..they're mostly highway miles.
The interior has the regular wear and tear but nothing a good leather treatment couldn't handle. The A/C works great..the power windows and seats, the sun roof...the car feels great, specially for $4k but I know 140k miles it's a lot for any car. But you don't see a lot of 75' toyotas..or 75' Hyundais...but you do see a lot of 75'shish Bimmers and Mercedez with a lot of miles in them and still running.
I just wanted to hear from people who owned one.

I think she does.
She's a very good friend of my girlfriend that's why I'm not worried about her lying about those thing...and her husband used to take care of the car himself and he is a car geek...hehe.
