Looking at an '89 325i convertible

Local ad: $850 For '89 325i Convertible.

My Question: Is this a Good Price?

What should I be looking for before buying?

I feel that for $850 for any 325i is a good price.

Please I'm new and know, not a thing about B,mers.

What did they put in these cars? Staight 6's.

I would take it to you mechanic and have them to a look over or take it to your local bmw dealership and find out if there are any engine block trouble or tranny problems. The price is good 850 but make sure your not going to be dropping in another 2k after you buy it to keep it running.
