Hi all --
My name's Aaron, I'm a new BMW (part) owner -- we have an '92 633csi that we want to enter in the 24 Hours of LeMons race at Buttonwillow this summer. (Don't worry, it's in pretty sad shape, we saved it from the crusher and/or some penniless/hapless BMW fan who would buy it, sink a ton of money into it, never get it working right, sell it in frustration, and give up on BMWs forever. Oh, and it's an automatic.)
The four of us (Team Unknown Fluids) are brand new to BMWs; I'm a Honda guy myself. I joined the forum to get some guidance as we build the car -- particularly about what parts are worth saving and selling. (The rules limit us to spending $500 on the car, but we can add money generated from parts sales to our total. Plus we hate the idea of unknowingly throwing away parts that people are desperate to get their hands on.)
