Hey guys, me and a couple friends just picked up a 95 BMW 540i which we plan to use as a dedicated track/Lemons car. Joined up on multiple BMW forums to share our experience and also to sell a bunch of the interior parts we no longer need....... gotta get down to that $500 Lemons limit haha. Problem is I can't post a sale thread yet.
The car runs great, had a few small issues (oil leak/driveshaft bracket broken) but overall it's in good shape. So far we think it's down to 3300-3400 lbs assuming a starting weight of 3800. This is going to be a great track toy when it's done.

What did you do with the exhaust? Just drop it out from the back of the cats? Sounds sweet, but yeah the suspension is going to cause a bit of grief!! Nothing a good pair of shockies won't fix though!

Yeah we cut the muffle off right by the rear door, and then put some tips pointed down/side. Sounds awesome in person. Wish we could do shocks, but the $500 lemons budget is going to prevent that unless we sell a LOT of parts haha.
